- After completing HIPAA verification, check the status of their application in Salesforce.
- If it has just been submitted, ask patient for Confirmation Code ( e.g. CC_2024_NGg46BP) and search for it in the Salesforce search box.
- Estimated timeframe for application processing is 3-5 business days.
Once you have searched for the confirmation code on the Salesforce search box, go to chatter and locate the most recent email sent to the patient.
If patients are approved for $0 (100%) check the status of the write-off and confirm that no other statement will be generated.
- If submitted in the last 24-72 hrs, check status of application in Salesforce using the confirmation code and check CASE on AMD to confirm if the write-off has been made. If write-off code has already been made, then the patient can pay the corresponding $99 / $149 by any of these methods:
- Resolutions Agent can send them a payment link from Synergen Pay.
- Patient can go to pay.natera.com enter case number, DOB or DOS and process payment there.
Quick Tips:
- Always check LIMS and AMD for notes and SPAY to ensure the amounts match.
- If patients have issues uploading their file using the online Compassionate Care Application form, please instruct them to send those to [email protected]
- If you see any application from [email protected] and have an application reference number beginning with ‘CC_2024_xxxxx’, these are for the online Compassionate Care application form.
- We should never stop a claim because the patient wants to apply for Compassionate Care.
FINANCIAL INSERT FOR INN CASES
Patients with In-Network cases whose patient responsibility exceeds $749 are getting a financial insert on their statements envelope.
If you received a call regarding a financial insert, provide compassionate care details to the patient.
