ERA stands for Electronic Remittance Advice
It is an explanation from a health plan to a provider about a claim payment.
When you open the History tab in AMD you may not see the green rows with the PI code (insurance’s answer) meaning that probably the 45 business days haven’t passed yet.
However, if you see the following icon, please double click on it.
This icon represents an answer from the insurance that’s already on it’s way but not reflected completely in AMD yet.
Remember until we have a bill printed we will be able to tell 100% sure what’s the PR and until there’s an actual green row in History from that insurance we will be able to actually read their answer through the Remark Codes.
